Familiar yet fresh, Diane von Furstenberg’s iconic animal prints have been celebrated for 50 years on and off the catwalk. Conveying confidence through textiles, 20 years of collaboration later and our fifth collection, On the Wild Side, is no exception to the rule.

“Home is our shelter and a reflection of who we are. This new collection embodies all elements of nature, which has always been my source of inspiration.” said von Furstenberg.

Taking references from DVF's archival trove of patterns, each new striking rug translates with an understanding and mutual devotion to the longevity of design.

From a 1973 Vogue Cover to now, the dappled navy and cream pattern of Giraffe Dusk works effortlessly in giving a new meaning to neutrals.

Adapted from its original 2014 printed wrap dress, the pops of cobalt and indigo in Animalia move fluidly throughout the swirling silk.

In the second rendition of Climbing Leopard, Climbing Cubs nods to DVF’s passion for nature and wildlife. We are delighted to be supporting the World Wildlife Foundation UK and will donate 10% of proceeds to their charity protecting the endangered species of Snow Leopards.

All Things Pattern

Diane von Furstenberg & Martina Mondadori

With the 1970s original print Giraffe Dusk underfoot, Diane von Furstenberg and Martina Mondadori of Cabana dove into a discussion about all things pattern. For the household name designer, staying authentic is akin to being bold.

“I might not have invented dynamite, but I invented a dress that made women feel like dynamite”, said von Furstenberg.

Unabashed confidence is key to the brand's longstanding legacy, which prioritizes strong prints that stand the test of time. As the conversation delved deeper, the meaning behind DVF’s five new designs rooted in bright colour, movement and a nod to nature became apparent, as the designer’s sincerest passions.
