Self-confessed ‘mistress of monochrome’, Sue Timney, is renowned for her distinctive use of black and white graphic imagery. As co-founder of Timney Fowler, Sue was one of the first to bridge the gap between fashion and interiors during the 1980s, later known as the ‘lifestyle’ trend. Sue has collaborated with Issey Miyake, Yohji Yamamoto, Ralph Lauren and Diane von Furstenberg, and in 2010 a retrospective exhibition of her work was held at the Fashion and Textile Museum featuring Sue’s Clock rug.
