The London tastemakers show us around their home and select their favourite rugs and accessories for the new season.

Luke Edward Hall’s colourful design aesthetic is inspired by a passion for history and an appreciation of beauty as well as a sense of playfulness. His pieces are vibrant and eccentric with an imperial feel; a tempting assortment of designs for the modern collector.

His partner, Duncan Campbell, is one half of Campbell-Rey, a creative consultancy and design partnership, united by a grounding in culture, a sense of irreverence and a playful, elegant aesthetic.

“When it comes to rugs, we’re usually drawn to geometric patterns, which is why we love Suzanne Sharp’s designs. We also enjoy trompe-l’oeil, so Diane von Furstenburg’s Climbing Leopard design really appeals to us, and the emerald background is sublime.” Luke

“When designing a room, texture is also very important - the alpaca rug would create an excellent base to build upon. And who doesn’t love a shaggy rug?" Luke

“Colour is very important in our work and Suzanne’s graphic cushions would work well in any interior. The crewelwork texture is fantastic and we also love Sam Taylor-Wood’s tapestry cushions; the landscape design is a lot of fun and the striking red piping makes it feel contemporary." Duncan
