Kips Bay Palm Beach 2019

For the second annual Kips Bay Palm Beach Show House, a roster of celebrated designers transformed a Mediterranean-style revival house into an elaborate celebration of design and art, showcasing a different designer’s work in each room.

The Florida iteration of the famous Manhattan event opened on January 26th and will run until February 20th, with all proceeds benefiting the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club and Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County.

We teamed up with Lee Robinson Design to create a show-stopping runner, stretching the length of the corridor and spiralling down the front staircase to transform the entrance of the villa.

Working closely with our design studio to create the bespoke handtufted rug, Robinson incorporated a nautical nod to Florida and to Palm Beach with his colour combination of cerulean blue, navy and white.. The living walls and chirping birds accompany the runner adding to Robinson’s homage to the Chinoiserie Garden.

Inspired by evening walks in the summertime, Danielle Rollins’ ‘Sunset Bedroom’ is a vision in pink and Oriental Birds by Paul Smith adorns the floor to create the ultimate rosy retreat.

Perfect for the poolside cabana, Vista from our Perennials collection was the obvious choice for Tina Anastasia’s changing room, balancing out her energetic colour palette.

Mark Williams and Niki Papadopoulos opted for Chiaroscuro by Alexander McQueen to embellish the floor of their moody powder room.
