The son of a vaudeville dancer and a choreographer, Rockwell’s unusual upbringing has led to a fascination with the theatrical and an eccentricity which permeates his creations. With projects ranging from fine hotels and restaurants to Broadway musicals and product design, Rockwell’s approach combines powerful design and craftsmanship, while always aiming to create the possibility for pleasure.
Rockwell’s rug collection for The Rug Company is based on graphic and textural explorations derived from his diverse projects; the designs are at the same time sophisticated and playful.
Our collection of cushions is entirely handmade, using traditional tapestry and needlepoint techniques, and with a generous goose down filler. Each piece is enhanced by the unique style of our exclusive designers, and is distinctive, precious and collectable.
Deliveries to US, Caribbean and South American addresses are made by UPS using the quickest route. Shipping charges are calculated by volumetric weight, and are shown at the time of order.
If you are not entirely delighted with the products that you have chosen you may return them to us within 14 days of receipt. We will be happy to offer you an exchange provided that the products are returned complete, in perfect condition with the original packaging. Items can be returned outside this 14 day period if they are found to be faulty but please take extra care to read our care and cleaning page or any specific care instructions provided with your purchase. We cannot accept an item returned as faulty if the appropriate product care instructions have not been followed and the damage caused to the product is clearly due to wear and tear or misuse. We may require evidence - e.g. photographs of the rug to validate that a product is faulty.
If you wish to return an item for any reason, you must contact us first on +1 212 274 0444 to obtain a returns authorisation. Once authorised, we will then arrange for a carrier to collect the item(s) from you. If your return is not covered by the terms above, then we may require payment to cover the cost of shipping.
