  • About This Design

    Lucinda's Jubilee design was created to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II in 2002. The Union Flag is set against a pretty floral background with pom poms and the badges feature a selection of Rug Company designs and are embellished with diamante crystals.

    This cushion is completely handmade, it measures 55 x 41cm and is available from stock.

  • Designer Story

    Illustrious Fashion Director of British Vogue, Lucinda Chambers’ career as a fashion stylist spans more than 20 years.

    An alumnus of Hornsey Art College, she has worked as a consultant for Prada, Jil Sander and, for the past 10 years, Marni. Now best recognized as Vogue’s visionary fashion director, her creations are a source of inspiration to fashion cognoscenti around the world. Amongst her other designs, the instantly recognisable Jubilee cushion and the Jubilee wallhanging by Lucinda Chambers have become contemporary design classics.

  • Craftsmanship

    Our collection of cushions is entirely handmade, using traditional tapestry and needlepoint techniques, and with a generous goose down filler. Each piece is enhanced by the unique style of our exclusive designers, and is distinctive, precious and collectable.

  • Delivery, Returns and Payment Methods


    Deliveries to US, Caribbean and South American addresses are made by UPS using the quickest route. Shipping charges are calculated by volumetric weight, and are shown at the time of order.

    If you wish to place an online order for delivery to a country outside the USA, South America or The Caribbean, please visit our United Kingdom Online Store.

    For delivery to any of the following countries, please contact your local showroom directly to make an enquiry or place an order: Belgium, Denmark, Hong Kong, Lebanon, Mexico, Russia (Moscow and Saint Petersburg), Spain (Barcelona and Madrid), Sweden, Taiwan and United Arab Emirates.


    We want you to be delighted with your purchase, so if you are not completely happy, you may return it to us within 21 days of receipt for a full refund (including shipping charge) or exchange - provided that the item is returned complete and in its original condition. The Rug Company will cover the cost of return shipping. Read our Terms & Conditions for more details.

    To return an item, you must first contact us (we can be contacted on +1 212 274 0444 from 9:30am - 6pm EST, Monday - Friday). We will then arrange for UPS to collect the item from you. Returns can be collected from your home, work or an alternative address.

    It is recommended that you keep the original packaging in order to make returning items easier. If you no longer have the original packaging we can suggest alternatives or send you new packaging free of charge.
