Yabu Pushelberg

Founded in 1980 by George Yabu and Glenn Pushelberg, Yabu Pushelberg is an internationally celebrated interior design firm with offices in New York City and Toronto.

For almost thirty years, the duo have created distinctive signature environments for a diverse and often high profile clientele within the specialized retail, hospitality, and restaurant sectors.

With international commissions since its inception, Yabu Pushelberg excels at designing and coordinating projects from a distance. The firm has collaborated with some of the world’s leading innovators for hotel groups, chefs, and retailers including Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, W Hotels, Thompson Hotels, Park Hyatt International, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, Peninsula Hotels, St. Regis Hotels, Jean-Georges Von Richten, Louis Vuitton, Bergdorf Goodman, Tiffany & Co., Carolina Herrera, David Yurman, and LaneCrawford.

Yabu Pushelberg is known for its “anything is possible” approach to design, experimenting with new materials and forging relationships with independent artists to create original interiors that defy design type and transcend trendiness.

Yabu and Pushelberg met while attending Ryerson University in Toronto, Ontario for interior design – a profession they stumbled into. Pushelberg serves as the duo’s conduit between the client and the design team, while Yabu oversees the creation and development of all design components for each of the firm’s projects.
