Neisha Crosland is known for her textile designs with a chic, modern aesthetic; her designs combine exquisite forms with clever colour palettes. 

Crosland has created a collection of rugs for The Rug Company that reflect her effortless style and masterful sense of shape and form. The designs play on the differing textures of wool and silk to fully complement the understated designs whose simple organic and geometric forms work beautifully in a range of interior styles. Influences for the collection include a beaded necklace, alluding to the feminine nature of her designs.  The simplicity of the forms and the play of light and dark in each of them translate beautifully into the scale and texture of the rugs. Crosland recently added to her existing collection with Rosa and Spider hand knotted wool and silk rugs, as well as Razor, Pyramid Trellis and Moorish Circles which explore the qualities of hand woven contemporary tapestry rugs.

This rug is entirely handmade, using a special weaving technique. The background is knotted by looping directly around the warp and weft, giving a flat but highly tactile finish. The silk motif is knotted in a soft short pile, which gives the pattern unique definition. We use only the finest natural yarns; the Tibetan wool for its softness and durability, the fine silk for its delicate lustre that enhances the design of the rug. The result is a unique hand knotted contemporary rug of extraordinary beauty, which will itself become an heirloom to be treasured for years to come.

Standard deliveries to mainland UK addresses are free of charge and normally made within 2 working days – Monday to Friday. Deliveries to all international addresses (except the USA, South America and the Caribbean) will take longer, but we endeavour to send all orders by the quickest route. For orders delivered outside the UK, we will confirm the anticipated delivery date to you.

Delivery charges for outside the UK are calculated by volumetric weight, and are shown at the time of order.

Returns policy

The Rug Company operates a 30 day no-quibble returns policy. If you are not entirely delighted with the products that you have chosen you may return them to us within 30 days of receipt. We only ask that you contact us to arrange shipping and ensure the goods are returned as new in the original packaging for a full refund or exchange. The Rug Company will cover the cost of shipping within the UK, but charges may be incurred for shipping outside of the UK. Items can be returned outside this 30 day period if they are found to be faulty but please take extra care to read our Care and Cleaning page or any specific care instructions provided with your purchase. We cannot accept an item returned as faulty if the appropriate product care instructions have not been followed and the damage caused to the product is clearly due to wear and tear or misuse. We may require evidence - e.g. photographs of the rug to validate that a product is faulty.

If you wish to return an item for any reason, you must contact us first on +44 (0)20 7243 7342 to obtain a returns authorisation. Once authorised, we will then arrange for a carrier to collect the item(s) from you. If your return is not covered by the terms above, then we may require payment to cover the cost of shipping.
