The VW Flag rug stole the spotlight this week at the glamorous opening of the new Vivienne Westwood store in Los Angeles.
Gracing the Union Jack carpet with Vivienne were some of our favourite stars including Dita Von Teese, Mad Men’s Christina Hendricks, SATC’s Kristin Davis and Heidi Klum.

Reminiscent of her famous punk aesthetic, the iconic VW Flag rug is typical of Westwood’s ability to bring together traditional motifs with an irreverent and subversive streak.
